Biography

Zi Liang is a passionate pianist, harpsichordist, and educator. She made her concerto debut with Maestro Maurice Peress in Queens, NY, and has premiered works by composers Leo Kraft and Brian Fennelly. Her current project is a 2-CD recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations on harpsichord and piano with MSR Classics. She has performed with the GRAMMY-nominated INSCAPE Chamber Orchestra and was awarded Best Piano Accompaniment at the Fourth Chorus Art Festival in Inner Mongolia.

An active member of the National Certified Teachers of Music, Zi has presented at regional conferences and published in the MTNA e-Journal. Originally from Xi’an, China, she holds degrees from Queens College at City University of New York, New York University, and is completing her doctorate at the University of Cincinnati. She currently teaches at the ÌìÃÀÊÓÆµ, Lafayette, and at her private studio, .
